What we collect
Email addresses. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address in Ghost, our publishing platform. We use it to send you articles and occasional updates. We do not share it with third parties.
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used. Cloudflare Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sessions, and does not share data with advertising networks. You will not see a cookie consent banner on this site because we do not set tracking cookies.
Advertising. We may add advertising in future, including Google AdSense. If we do, Google may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

When you subscribe to The Planet Brief newsletter:
- We store your email address to send you articles and updates
- We do not sell or share your email address
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email
- Unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to correct it if it is wrong. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@theplanetbrief.com.
Third-party links
Our articles link to external websites including The Carbon Workbench, Prospereco, and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes will be noted in the newsletter.
