Carbon credit and allowance prices

Start here for public, dated price snapshots. The board separates compliance allowances, voluntary credit categories, nature-based credits and durable removals so unlike tonnes are not treated as one market.

Price records

Use these cards when you need the source, date, market type and boundary behind a price. The filters above also narrow the rest of the dashboard.

Capability map

Carbon market maturity is not one number. This view separates price visibility, compliance depth, Article 6 evidence, registry data, removals delivery and claims discipline.

Market signals

Recent source checks show what moved, what became clearer and which part of the market still needs evidence.

Price history

Dated price movement log

Choose a lane to see the recorded price snapshots, source checks and watch notes behind the current card.

Reading the prices

How to use these figures

Each figure is tied to a source, date and market boundary. Use them to understand price context, not as live quotes or a direct comparison between very different carbon markets.

1. Start with the market type

A compliance allowance, a CORSIA-eligible unit and a durable removal credit are not interchangeable prices.

2. Check the date and source

Some prices come from public exchange or auction data. Others are annual averages, category ranges or watch notes.

3. Keep the boundary in view

A broad voluntary-market average can hide large differences in project type, vintage, geography, durability and claim use.

Tracked indicators

Each card links a market signal to its source, related TPB context and the next evidence check.

No indicators match this filter.

History layer

How the tracker changes over time

The current file shows the latest read. The history file records source reviews, status changes, new metrics and methodology changes.

Source register

Every indicator needs a source, review trigger and related TPB guide. This section is the audit trail readers should be able to inspect quickly.

Method and boundary

Information only

This dashboard is for general information only. It is not financial advice, investment advice, procurement advice, legal advice, claims-compliance advice or a recommendation. Carbon market rules, prices, eligibility lists and registry records can change quickly. Check current official sources and qualified advice before relying on any figure for a decision.

Data checked 2 July 2026 for core indicators and 3 July 2026 for price lanes against the source register below. The tracker uses dated source checks and public market snapshots, not live trading feeds. Refresh after major scheme updates, Article 6 decisions, CORSIA eligibility changes, price-source changes or material market reports.
